Our story began long before the doors of Neff's Country Loft opened 15 years ago. After convincing my Mother I was old enough to sew(at the age of 10) we spent countless hours sewing and sharing the love and passion of fabric, designs and color together, never realizing it would turn into a life long partnership.
This is where all good stories would end with a happy ever after ending....but for Mother and I the story turned into a journey, which lead into a dream come true.
The opportunity to open a country store filled with primitive, pottery,country accents, and garden accessories presented itself in 1994. After several years our goal was to fulfill the satisfaction of operating a quilt shop to complete the passion we both have shared for sew long. So in 1999 was the birth of our quilt shop as we expanded our building to accommodate walls filled with the finest fabrics, newest notions and samples to inspire your creativity. Knowing now what our destiny is to sell and teach quilting, passing our combined talents on to others to help you create your own heirlooms for your families to cherish.
Joining our quilt shop family along with being my daughter-in-law, Cindy plays a big part in the success and operation of our business. Although our staff is small we share our credit for success to the dedecated friends and customers that willing to share their time either teaching or their samples and their ideas. Deadline would not be met and samples would be few if not for all of them.
Now we appreciate this oppertunity to share our beauftiful shop with you through out our web site. Our building is so special to us, with the warm country flair, housing an eighteen foot apple tree with its branches reaching into the Loft, and our fireplace is always welcoming you with seasonal samples for you to make or decorate your own home with.
